Mums on stage

This is a space for women who, like me, work in the performing arts and always wondered how on earth could such an unordinary, unpredictable, and self-centered job be combined with having a child.

When I was pregnant with my first daughter I searched and searched the internet in vain for advice and encouragement from women who had carried on performing whilst dealing with the utterly all consuming state of pregnancy and motherhood.

This space is simply what I would have liked to find at the time and it is for anyone who wants to share in the stories of how other women have managed it.
